App
The commerce platform for non-metro India — where local businesses are invisible and local money is leaving.

The Problem

Three problems. Every non-metro city.
No one solving any of them.

01

Local businesses are invisible

A kirana store has no website, no Google listing, no way to be found. It loses customers every day — not because the product is bad, but because it can't be discovered.

02

Local money is leaving the city

Customers order from national platforms and metro-city vendors. The same product exists locally — but the local shop has no way to reach them. Every order placed outside is money that should have stayed.

03

The non-digital majority is locked out

A large share of customers in these cities don't use apps. Every existing platform assumes smartphone literacy, English reading, digital payments. None of that exists at scale here.

Directory platforms are built for leads, not commerce. Quick-commerce needs urban density that doesn't exist here. No platform is built for this market, at this depth, for this audience.

The Solution

Three capabilities.
All live. All working together.

Capability 01

Directory + Discovery

Every local business has a verified digital profile — name, category, photos, contact, timings. Customers find them via app or web. Field team sets everything up — vendor does nothing.

Live
Capability 02

Catalog + Assisted Commerce

Vendors list products. Customers order via app or phone. For non-digital customers — our in-house sales team places the order over a call, supported by AI recommendations in real time.

Live
Capability 03

Live Commerce + Unified Cart

Vendors sell via 1-on-1 in-app video calls. AI bundles products from multiple local shops into one cart. One delivery person fulfills everything in a single trip.

Business Model

Two models.
Running in parallel.

Self-serve — subscription platform

Vendors subscribe and use the platform themselves. Lower touch, high volume. Entry point for every vendor.

Marketing Plan Free 3mo → ₹499/mo
Commerce Plan ₹999/mo + 5% GMV
Live Commerce Plan ₹1,999/mo + 5% GMV

Managed Account Plan

A dedicated account manager runs everything — catalog, campaigns, sales, city expansion. Primary revenue driver at scale.

40–50
vendors per account manager, with AI tools. Without AI: 8–10. That gap is our margin.
6-month minimum ₹2,999/mo + 5%
Annual ₹1,999/mo + 5%

Revenue Model

Three streams.
All grow without adding headcount.

Stream 01

Subscription ARR

Monthly recurring revenue from every vendor. Predictable. Compounds as we add cities. Independent of order volume.

Stream 02

5% GMV Commission

Built into checkout on Commerce, Live Commerce, and Managed plans. As vendor sales grow, our revenue grows — without adding a single new vendor. NRR above 100%.

Stream 03

In-App Sponsored Ads

Vendors buy featured placements — top of search, category spotlights, promoted products. Pay-per-placement. Available as an add-on across all tiers.

Subscription ARR is predictable. GMV commission scales with vendor revenue without adding headcount. Sponsored placements add a third lever — vendors compete for visibility. All three grow in the same city, at the same time.

Employment Generation

Every city we enter creates
four layers of local employment.

i

Field Sales

Local salespeople who onboard vendors, set up profiles, and explain the platform. Hired locally, paid locally. Every new city needs its own team.

ii

Delivery Network

Local delivery partners dispatched through the platform. Single-trip multi-vendor fulfillment — viable because non-metro commercial belts are within 2–3 km.

iii

Account Managers

Educated local talent. Career path, not gig work. A person who would otherwise leave for a metro — stays home, builds a career running vendor campaigns.

iv

AI-Augmented Workforce

Every hire operates at 10× output with AI tools. Team scales without proportional headcount growth — savings fund the next city. More cities = more jobs.

Why We Win

A competitor can copy the product.
They cannot copy what we accumulate.

Vendor data accumulation
Every month on the platform, we accumulate sales history, customer patterns, peak hours, top products. AI recommendations improve with every order. A new entrant starts at zero — we start with months of city-level data.
Vendor operational dependency
Once a vendor's catalog, campaigns, and customer relationships run through Rewari App — switching means rebuilding everything, at the cost of revenue continuity. The longer they stay, the more painful leaving becomes.
Customer habit formation
A customer who orders locally three times has formed a habit. Order history, saved addresses, familiar vendors — they don't switch platforms. They just reorder.
City depth before scale
The longer we are in one city before a competitor arrives, the harder we are to displace. We go deep first. By the time a competitor enters, our vendors are dependent, our customers habitual, our data months ahead.

Innovation

Five things no platform does.
All five in one product.

01

3-tier vendor model

Marketing → Commerce → Live Commerce. Vendors grow at their own pace. No forced commitment at entry.

02

Assisted onboarding

Our field team sets up the profile, catalog, and first campaign. Vendors don't need to be tech-literate. Technical barrier removed entirely.

03

AI-assisted phone sales

In-house team places orders over calls for non-digital customers. AI recommends and upsells in real time. Serves an audience every other platform ignores.

04

1-on-1 Live Commerce

Not broadcast. A direct video call — vendor demos the product, closes the sale, delivers to the door. The in-store experience, digital.

05

Unified multi-vendor cart · Single-trip delivery

AI recommends across multiple local shops. One cart, one delivery person, one trip. No existing hyperlocal platform does this for non-metro India.
